A mystery on the lake near my place.
The locals say the thingies on the lake to the right of the
bush are the upper fins of a prehistoric 'dinosaur like' water creature.
Other people say it's a photo of 2 ducks and their ducklings.
You be the judge.
^ I'll go for 2 ducks
Lobster like crabs and clams should be alive when put into the pot for steaming. Steaming as opposed to boiling is the preferred method as it cooks up a more tender lobster and preserves the ocean fresh taste of lobster.
By the way, in selecting a lobster to purchase to steam, pick one that looks angry and raises it's claws as this is the one that is more fresh.....

Just good light really the phone is not renown for it's camera. Right angle right light.
Took some others along the coast that were really poor.
£25 to get into the historic dockyard these days.. seems a lot but you get to clamber all over the Warrior and the Victory.. think I'll make a day of it next year, but the view of the Warrior from Portsmouth Hard was good enough that day.
We're looking forward to the painting Nigel and have a nice spot for it ;)
Still must finish that thread...

Yesterday we went for a drive in The Gatineau Hills and I spotted this nice little private plane and I had to stop and take a shot of it. I also loved how the sun was reflecting off the water and showing the nice lily pads happily floating before the big freeze comes.

We was at Brands Hatch this weekend to see the final British Superbike Meet this year and my mate Phil bundled over the barriers very cheekily to grab this shot with Shane ( Shakey ) Byrne ,, bet you'd have loved to have been here Bob :)
