    ^A prescient observation Toot

She is in fact only the 2nd lady with size 8 feet that I have ever dated.

KLF of the original golden high heels was the first in 2012.

I have not yet had a chance to peruse Lady Lae's shoe collection but my mouth was watering the moment I cracked eyes on her prodigious plates.

A nice place to stay and relax with a local lady. Isn't it a bit overfurnished? Enjoying the local culinary speciality?

No marshmallows were called into duty to lay Lady Lae Skiin.

She is a coastal Papuan. Her friend (who came with her the first time when she was kicking the tyres) is a mountain Papuan.

Papua has a very interesting anthropological history.

The mountain Papuans are a completely different racial stream from the coastal Papuans, who arrived 10s of millennia later. The mountain Papuans are closely related to Australian Aboriginals. Coastals are related to Pacific Melanesians.

    Very different facial bone structure.

For more details read the excellent 3rd Chimpanzee by Jared Diamond who lived and worked in Papua for many years.

Who needs a ute when you have got a Jaag.

It does not even have fold down rear seats. Is there anything this trusty old jaag will not do?

4 x 2.4 metre sleepers weighing 40Kg each. Just wind the seats backwards on both sides. Open the rear drivers side door. Slot the wood diagonally into the passenger foot-well and slide across to rest on rear seat back tops. Then screw the drivers seat forwards again. Then try to drive home and get stopped by the police on the M1 for trying to get back into QLD without a covid-19 border permit. Then avoid a $1330 fine and get let of with a warning by the policeman.

^ I fear you need to run your hands over ever inch of the Jaaaaagggggs upholstery, you don't want the Lady from Lae getting a sharp length of wood in her.

Uncovered the pool again for a few days of sunshine . . . otherwise it gets too warm and algae starts off again. The joys of a useless pool in New Zealand.

But - fresh bread arrived from our favourite bakery - now to cut it as evenly as possible. It's a bit 'soft' for my liking but sourdough will do that

Male swan on the right with the bigger beak bump. They are quite tame and look for food from both the people living on the Cut and Gongoozlers.

He was on his own but when he spotted me walking along he called to his mate and she brought out the brood from a small pond that opens onto the canal. I will have to remember to bring some scraps etc.
