China propoganda daily says " worlds 'largest' suspension bridge" but what does that mean? Longest? highest? heaviest? Fatest?

As it says on the tin, "Post a photo a week, of anything/anywhere".

Nothing about geography, subject or own images.

    English not your native language?

One photo per week which must be taken in the preceeding 7 days.
Care to identify where the "only your own images" rule is? Or change the title to clarify your selective rule.

You may want to edit your first post to inform posters that they, themselves, need to take their posted image, for clarity.

You may also want to go through the thread and suggest to any, that don't follow your new guidelines, of the 'other place they might post images" new rule.

Or are you trying to be "selective" in who posts in what thread?

Possibly the mods have something to say.

Or shall I just post "Fuck Off Phat" and start a trend?

    Alleged in the link above.

I'm sure the Tibetans have the IPR on "Long Span Suspension Bridges", what with all the mountains an deep crevasses they have.

You seem to have blown a bit of a vein with this request . . .

It's not a rule, it's a request and implied by the following:

. . . and I do request this several times - but - whatever floats your boat, I don't 'own' this thread, it's just like any other on TD, do as you wish . . . just try and calm down or you'll have a seizure

I live in a small Thai farming village, some do commute to the nearest cities, some kids are bussed to better schools. I'm surrounded by jungle covered Thai "mountains", fed by clear mountain streams, prosperous enough to have a daily market/shop which provides most necessities, an hour's truck drive from the nearest city, where most western foods can be found.

My days of angst of missing real, suggested or actual "targets" have been replaced with, "Do I need to do it today, shall I do it tomorrow, the day after, the week after or will next month do.

Exercise is natural. No pavement, treadmill pounding, weight lifting or 250m laps to "endure". Just walking around the farms, driving my trusty 4WD truck 5km, crossing the "river" 7times and then walking another 5km, crossing the same "river" another 12 times.

Up hill and down dale along jungle tracks to and back from the farms (keeping an ear cocked/noting smells and signs of animal dropping/footprints for wild Chang, Buffaloes, Pigs or Tigers, some to be run away from, some to be cautious and others to be followed and caught if possible).

    Post a photo a week, of anything/anywhere-img_7077-jpg

    Chopping brush,

    Post a photo a week, of anything/anywhere-recently-cleared-farm-viewed-air-670x501

throwing handfuls of fertiliser, checking irrigation systems, building a dip pool in a mountain stream, with the surrounding rubbed smooth rocks ....

All at my own pace and resting for food, drink, a smoke or a sleep, whenever I choose.

    Hardly seizure conditions.

What if I do, call an ambulance and "wake up" paralysed in a World Class or Thai government hospital, with or without A/C, a 4k screen or a WIFI signal?

Or enjoy the last moments of a warm sunshine filtered through the planted crop/jungle tree canopy, the quite water flowing down the mountain stream, the wild birds singing to each other, the buzz of insects collecting their nectar or a distant storm? Before I pass on to the "promised land"

My choice was made a decade ago, living the life of my dreams, contentment 80% delivered, peace of mind 100%.

    Yours?

None of the images are mine.

Not really. I enjoy my profession. It allows me to travel, eat well, gather experience, spend time with interesting people and so much more - any pressure I have I place upon myself. One of the advantages of having my own business (with a partner)

And am far from retirement age

Of course it's not ideal, but then what is

Wouldn't the laws of physics and some correctly measured cables kinda ensure that they do?

Channel Tunnel, okay, a bridge suspended off 2 fixed points?

    It is.

And it's the law of physics that would ensure what's being suspended off them would meet in the middle.
