I wanted to start a new thread on how life has been unfair to some.
Reminds me of a Robin Trower tune...

I really thought it was well worth the money- and as I said, I don't actually spend much of my salary in Myanmar so it seemed like a fair enough treat. Food was good, for breakfast I had the Sri Lankan curry
It was good and full of flavour- curries seem to work well at altitude. As for lunch, it was really unphotogenic ( much like my selfies that I obnoxiously took) but the cheese course with port was yum
It was a full cabin so I didn't want to get up and snap pics of seating etc- so from the web
Very comfy seats- nice and soft- flown at the front with EVA and found the seat to be rock hard.
Dinner was pie - it was so so, I don't think it took well to being reheated so high up
Dessert was a pear and raspberry pudding and it was excellent
Movies were decent- caught up on some latest releases and also watched some oldies. Service was prompt and always friendly. Sri Lanka is well known for it teas and you can choose from five types. I had an Earl Grey with more Champagne- double fisted cos I'm posh and all.
The lounge at Colombo was nice and you get a free 15 min massage. No pics as it was a whistle stop tour as we were late out of BKK. All in all worth every penny arrived well rested into London and didn't have messed up back and legs for days after the flight.
Nice stuff guys. Thanks for the pics.
RANDOM MACHINERY PIC.
I took a tour of a strudel making factory.
Nice noodles if I must say so myself.

It was supposed to be a joke about the size of the bananas. Sory if you interpreted differently.
Fluke & Pattaya Piles are thinking of opening a bar in Pattaya...it's a start
They'll only need two barstools
Then a crappy shophouse off 3rd Road, a string of xmas lights, case of chang and a mamasan. Grand opening
