..and where are the people!?
That's how these small towns are in far flung counties like Cornwall. Was looking for a place to get a cup of tea.
Couple of places do 'afternoon tea' which is just that. After 2.30pm you won't see a tea leaf for miles, unless you walk 4-5 miles to McD's
Weird, innit. I had a similar experience with food. Had a cracking dinner once in a small cafe/diner/restaurant and really enjoyed it so I decided to go back again a week or so later - at about 2.45pm. "Sorry. We don't serve meals after 2.30pm." FFS, I was the only customer. I never went back after that. Fuckem.

When I lived in London and worked as a gardener in the mid eighties we use to go to the old gressy spoon for breakfast =Bacon eggs sausage black pudding beans toast and a cup of tea all for 1 pound come to thing about it a pint of beer was 1 pound then too.
Years ago I went to a dilapidated cafe in Kilburn, got served by an old bloke with a fag in his mouth and a hacking cough
I dreaded finding his wifes beard hair in my omlette
Been here a few times as well. Junction Road, Archway ..Good sausages

What's worse than biting into a sausage and finding a roach?
Biting into a sausage and finding half the roach.
Wrong thread...
I was at Shanghai Disney today! 15 hours on my feet. This Tron ride is amazing.
Any souvenior pics of you screaming on the rides?
^ Translated...
Do you have any of these?
^First left after Archway tube where the buses would park. That areas cycle friendly/ a precinct area now
nice thanks haven't been there since 2006
The area's fallen on bad times since then, and they wanna regenerate the area. Tall order. The old Archway Tower office block is now overpriced yuppie flats
And just down the road....
I'm not a bacon and eggs man at all. Hate bacon, always have. Ditto black pudding.
If anything, breakfast should have bubble or proper home made hash brown. The latter is virtually impossible to find in todays cafes.
Chips too bulky and acidic (all that vinegar) to eat that time of day.
