Morning jog along the seafront at Great Yarmouth. 2 mins or so from my front door- not bad!
Was looking at house prices on Zoopla for Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, surprising affordable considering where in the UK they are situated. On my list of possibles for somewhere to move to behind Cornwall and the highlands of Scotland.
^^...looks like a sailors' cemetery...
Still waiting/hoping patiently for Summer

^ Looks nice and fresh. Haven't seen daffodils in a while. Scotland (and Ireland) are great places to live, when it finally stops raining. :)
^which are the daffodils? The pure yellow flowers or the yellow-white ones?
More pix from my recent trip to the mainland. Why do they put money in the tiger's mouth? Is it for good luck? What's the symbolism behind the tiger? As you guys know, I'm not Buddhist - would like to know. Thanks in advance!

...it's fearless when giving out winning lottery numbers for cash donations...
...tiger don't care: cough up the cash or your dreams will go dark and you'll live your life in poverty...
I don't know about all that so I'm reading Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance.https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2018/05/954.jpg
@tc - dang, I knew that I also should've placed money in that tiger's mouth. I'll just put money in the basket in church tomorrow - will that be the same? Else, I'm destined to live my life in poverty... Sigh...
@chitty - yeah, I liked the monk pic too. Was rare to see them cavorting in a waterfalls. Thnx for reloading the pix. Did I swim in that waterfalls? Yes I did, but no pics! :D
Edit - maybe I'll have that as one of my entries in the religious themed photo comp...
^(huff of indignation!) - TC, I don't nod off in church. How could you think so?! I'm a good Catholic girl, ya know. Been brainwashed since childhood. Because of that, I won't pray for your salvation tomorrow! &$@?!
:)
[QUOTE=katie23;3764868]^which are the daffodils? The pure yellow flowers or the yellow-white ones?
They both are. Daffodils come in countless varieties, with only one common factor in that they flower in Spring.
I heard Catholic girls are the best. Are you the best?

The highest paying (outside Inters, Unis & proper schools) has always been the Australian Centre, I believe. No fortunes being made, but not a bad gig by several accounts (esp. if you prefer to teach adults).
i think you could count on a third less of what's generally being made in T-land with fewer benefits and as much as 1/2 the COL if booze, drugs and broads ain't your thing.
Just generalizing.
