Massive pink tongued skink in the garden half an hour later. Fella is 30cm long and weighs a kilo. In the fishtank for a couple of days observation. Seems to like tuna fish but turns his nose up at peanut butter and broccoli.

Excellent Loopy. Not tempted to build a decent sized vivarium and keep him? He's beautiful.
I would love to. I had a couple of water dragons in there last year and there was a full grown adult carpet python at the house last week (they are pretty docile). Unfortunately my work involves a lot of travel so pets are pretty much out of the question otherwise I would open a zoo!

I will need to get a bigger observation tank. They eat tuna fish happily enough.

^ Fucking a Loopy. Would love to have a close up look at those beauties.
This is a short walk from my place, without crossing any roads or streets, The piece of land you see on the top left is Lantau Island, ( Hong Kong Airport)the activity on the water is the Hong Kong/Macau bridge/tunnel.

Hey Looper,
Put a bit of foliage in the tank if you're going to keep them for a while. Bluetongues are very shy and will arrange the foliage for privacy (though you can shift it to view them, of course).
They are not bluetongues LD, their tongues are pink, although I am sure the advice still applies!
