I have to be honest I was very surprised how sharp it managed to be that close. When you consider I was using it to take wide landscape shots in Cornwall the other week and now using it right down at the other end of the scale. Some dufus said phone cameras were shit the other day, I would take mine over a £100 point and and press any day of the week.

This is where I found him, strung up by his legs in a web.

The new Panasonic GX 7 looks a tasty bit of kit mate ,, with a lens your looking about a grand ,, allthough I dont know if you know but I think Jessops online now do 6 months interest free credit if that helps

Got my heart set on an EOS 7D Nige. Way more camera than I actually need right now, but something I can grow in to for a long time.

Nice shot. I love the purple haze the foliage gives to the back drop.

Cheers Abe. It was a difficult shot for me. 1. Getting close enough without scaring him, especially with a 6 year old in tow and 2. Shooting into the sun.

Anyone know this butterfly species name ?
There were lots about , but they are very aware ,
so had to take the photo with the compact lumix 24 zoom .
