Savannakhet got hit by a big storm on friday afternoon some of our guys were waiting to board the Cessna for a 30 minute flight to the minesite, One plane got damaged and they wont be flying the other one until an engineer checks it out

Im due for R&R and getting a bit toey, got told yesterday the trip to savannakhet to meet the Lao airlines flight to vientiane will be by minibus, Shit, 5 hours bouncing down that nightmare of a road.

Too hot for me. Under the grand poobahs master plan, we would be leaving Thailand around now (having wintered there) to have a pleasant summer in old Blighty, with tea, scones and cricket to look forward to. Its a shame Mr Osbourne has put paid to that for a few years.

I C that the snow plows do the same thing in the UK as they do in the United States and that is plow the streets and push the snow into the parked cars. That snow then turns to ice and it takes forever to shovel the car out.

Thats right. They`ve now started blocking in side streets as they drive by as well. I guess it boils down to being paid to do a route, rather than being paid by the hour and doing the job right.
