Nice home and garden..... what's with the roof. Looks as if the roof shingles are all falling off.

^The picture was taken on the only sunny day so far this year. Normally tropical storms and constant mist cause the house roofs to be covered in moss. Most house owners harvest the moss on a monthly basis and use it as fuel for the sole source of heat, an open fire in the kitchen.

As you can see because it is not raining the owner has not lit his fire - no smoke coming out of the chimney.

I look at all the pictures of England and miss home.

Then I remember how we scramble for the camera when a ray of sun appears and the rest of the time the pictures are in grayscale

    Suicide by Aircon.

Friday my office aircon suddenly refused to switch off using the remote, all lights went off and so did the compressor outside, but the aircon fan kept running, in the end I had to use the main aircon breaker in the storeroom to shut it down.

Today the service people arrived and all was revealed, a double suicide-pact on the printed circuit board for the remote control.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

ic... so the moss has to dry out for a spell before throwing into the fireplace I guess. If moss is anything like grass, then it must be a little smoky when it burns.

    Close..

my thought was that the timer must be to set the shell to air burst, as it is shrapnel.
Impressive weapon, must have been state of the art back in the day.

Thanks ST , you and your good lady are welcome for a meal here anytime your passing.

BTW we don't have " shingles " on our roof they are concrete tiles , now of the 8 properties in the UK I have owned this is the only one to suffer moss on the roof ,, I don't know if its because we are close to the sea ? have no idea
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
