If you follow this discussion to its logical conclusion you'll be convicting Lions for eating Antelopes

You was on about tame rats and how they were killed and I was wondering what you thought about a snake squeezing them to death?
I do not actually feed my dog live chickens, but the neighbors chickens do get in the yard and she does kill them, but does not eat them as they are raw and she being a Thai dog that has beed raised as a civilized dog since she was a month old, she eats nothing raw, if you want her to eat it, you will have to cook it, but she will kill anything that comes into her yard including cobras, and the only thing have to kill for her is a Takap, as she will just bark at those and have nothing else to do with them.

The Nationalist chinese crews and the Korean crews of the log carriers that load their logs at Longview Washington get dogs from the SPCA and take them back to the ships and butcher them and go get another one.
People bitch about it, but what the hell, they just kill them anyway if no one takes em, so what.
Do you feed your dog live chickens?

Load of fuss over nothing. I bet Simon Cowell has an interest in 'Celebrity', too. So called 'reality' shows over here are a joke. Manufactured controversy for the idiots who buy 'Hello' and 'Heat' and vye to be on Jeremy Kyle. All fodder for the milk cows who demand to be fed such trash.

What about the Rats that are raised and sold in Pet shops and people buy them and take home on a weelky basis to feed LIVE to their pet Pythons?
Do they belong in jail for feeding them to a snake??
I used to feed rats to a friends pet Boa. The snake would strike the rat hard to knock it out. You had to be careful to wash your hands after handling the rat or else the Boa might strike your hand thinking it was a rat. That would hurt!

So what say you to Panda's example of feeding live dogs to the lions at the zoo?

In all fairness there Willy, the sick and injured dogs should be the ones to go first as this would be the case in the wild. And besides, no point putting healthy young dogs in with a valuable zoo exhibit as they could injure the lions in their death struggles.

why are they nasty assholes? because they eat rats? because they kill rats?

We all got to eat and maybe people are too sensitive about the meat they do eat, many people need to realise that meat don't magically appear in a food hall neatly wrapped and packaged

as Marmite said earlier, animals are killed all the time for entertainment purposes, on cookery programmes, for instance

this rat was killed to eat, if entertainment was involved, so what?

it was not killed and thrown away
    I have reported your post
