Take a previously underperforming warplane, add powerful RR Merlin engines and long range tanks and you got the P-51 Mustang, a superb piece of trans Atlantic co-operation-

No other plane could fly higher, or further.

I also love the A-10 I grew up with them doing straffing runs over my football practice field in Germany.

    Pretty extreme coaching tactics.

Maybe the Roosters could approach RAAF base Williamtown to spice up the training sessions with their FA-18 Hornets

Welcome GBT, and Jet is cool,, she is 100% on Robski being a Poof libbie.
The other day a small bunch of Thai ran a bunch of the Limey marines back to their ship after fucking them out of 35k baht.
I am an older warrior who was to old for Nam so I went in as a contractor too.
I bet if would have been a different outcome if that was a bunch of U.S. marines or Army soldiers. "You Americans are so violent", you bet your ass we are, somebody has to to make up for rest of poofters. Yeah, but your contracting job had way better women and food I bet.....

Yea, good pay, good grub because I actually lived in town in an apt. and had a Viet wifey and we just sat around and drank beer,, when we had to work we were issued LRPRats, if available, or we had to forage, but the people over there were great at that time and would feed us when we showed up in a village and I always had a dozen cans of bristling sardines in my ruck so we shared with them as some didn't have anything but a little rice.

Lots of luck my friend, and if you get around this way, be sure and stop in.

RAAF General Dynamics F-111 afterburner reheat ignited fuel dump at Avalon, Victoria

F-111 nose cone is similar shape to Kookaburra's beak I think.

Will be in Thailand for vacation next week, finally some green and water to see. I ate MREs for 9 straight weeks here in 2003....Ignore the troll above you, just another wanker who can only bash those who actually did something with their lives. Now, here is a combat aircraft:

Yes, god forbid I am proud of my country and what I have done. It is okay to be proud of your country, people. A bit of Nationalism is a good thing, the exact opposite is well, you guys. Next up on the list P-40 Warhawk, a much better war record than given credit for and could take a heck of a lot of damage:

And, this bad boy did a lot of "close-in" work. A1-Skyraider. My dad said it was his favorite bird to call in for close-ground support.

I think you mean "this topic"? as for your other suggestion, you know nothing about me, or are ever likely to

I, however, already know you are a twat

Was indeed. Slow but accurate. One hell of a payload. Would keep flying with a few hundred bullet holes in the fuselage.
