How Thick are Thai People?

Right this will be a weekly thread where you get to ask the questions, every week just 2 simplistic questions and tick the poll, this way we will all know how thick or clever Thai natives are.

So, the first 2 questions, each week it will be 2 questions that you have to ask 5 native Thai people if they know the answer, yes that is 5 Thai people, not just your hiso semi chinky degreed up wife/girlfriend/boyfriend, 5 of the fokers...

So onto our first question;
How many days are there in a year?

NB; don't confuse them with leap years or shite like that.

Second question;
How many weeks are there in a year?

So get out there and ask those questions that need to be answered.

Clearly there is an error. If you ask in English or in Thai there will definatly be a difference. So, which is it? Ask in the Thai language?

Folk say there are 365 days in a year.

Except in each leap year, when there are 366 days clear.

Discount the leap year number of days and concentrate on the so called normal years.

There are, as we all know 52 weeks in a year. EXACTLY.

There are, as we all know 7 days in a week. EXACTLY.


Now, as far as I understand, 7 x 52 = 364. EXACTLY.

So how many days are there in a year, if there are 365,
where does the extra day come from?




I mean to say, it's not exactly Cricket, asking questions
we might not be able to answer ourselves.

Better still, get a map of the world out..guranteed six wrong answers right there, every time, including where their own country is. Offer them 1000bt if they can point to england in less then 100 guesses and you'd still be holding your money at the end of it.
