Some sharia court jurisdiction in civil cases doth not a "sharia surveillance state" make, whereas the Irish Economic Miracle really turned out to be a load of blarney, didn't it? But don't let that put you off your high horse- Ireland can always go back to being quaint- and you do have nice horses. Ireland probably has a better chance of reviving the tourist economy than Thailand has in the short term, without the sex tourism, obviously, despite the uncanny resemblance the Emerald Isle bears in many ways to Isaan (OK, you eat spuds not bugs).

^And what has any of that got to do with copying the political and eduactional system, which is what my post was about? I understand that you're a product of a culture and an educational system which produces people with the attention-span of gnats and the analytical abilities of a plate of jello bu once again, dear boy, relevance is all.
