No scrimping or scraping

If you are anything like me you will sometimes buy own-brand toilet-duck in order to save a few pennies, and also because you suspect that it is produced in exactly the same factory by the same methods as the more expensive brands advertised on television. However, for some things I refuse to compromise - it must be the best, the very best and only that will do. In your life for what items is quality paramount and price secondary?

I'll start with......socks.......Never buy cheap socks - I know it's tempting at the market to pick up a bundle of 200 socks for 200B, but on getting them home you will put them on and scream in horror at the insult that you have inflicted on your feet. Buy good quality socks and your feet will be your friends forever.

Never buy a cheap computer. I know, an Acer with command-line linux will save you a few bucks and even a locally assembled box with dodgy Windoze isn't that expensive. But, why scrimp and scrape? Buy a Mac. Treat yourself to a decent piece of hardware with the best OS around. Not everyone can afford one, but those who can know they've bought the best computing experience available today.

Cheap GF's aren't much good either, I know its tempting to spend your time down in Soi 6 but they will not be faithfull for more than 15 mins. Spending a bit more will get you true love for maybe an hour or so. If you really want to lash out you can get a GF to love you long time, maybe 2 /3 days, then you can go out to the seafood places along walking street and hold hands with them on the way. Its worth the xtra money I think. Won't cost a whole lot more for a real GFE for a week or so with a slapper with a fat arse and you can always Photoshop them a bit to show your mates down the pub.
Condoms are one other thing you shouldn't try and save on, like cheap socks you put it on and you know they aren't going to go the distance, why bother ? When it breaks after about 10 strokes then you just know you will spend the nest two week giving your knob intensive scrutiny each time you piss, not worth it.

I have found that my elastic in my under wear and my socks just isn't hacking it out here.

Even my mates say the same thing and we all ahve imported socks and underwear.

What is the problem?

The answer is of course very simple, don't wear socks or underwear, without the underwear this enables girls to be able to get to your knob easier and also helps in not making an erection uncomfortable, as for socks they stink....

I find the cheap stuff dissolves into papier mache upon contact with moisture...

so I buy expensive toilet paper - I like the kind that feels like you are stroking a small furry puppy or kitten against your ladies' front bottom, if I were really rich I would just but a truckloads of puppies and kittens and use them - but I am not so I settle for the best loo roll I can afford

Due to age I have a small incontinence problem, so I need either underpants or maybe a sock on my willy, its one or the other I am afraid. DD you should add an ageing gracefully forum as well as the proposed gays in thailand one. I just think it would be useful.

I agree with this but how do you know about the quality when you buy loo paper...they are wrapped in plastic and then each roll is also wrapped...pisses me off that I can't feel before I buy

Bread. Too important a staple to just stick any plain old loaf in your mouth. Good bread in the morning for brekky sets up your whole day. Scrimp here and you have the rest of the day to regret it.

I think for hygene that is probably the best thing, I wouldn't want my toilet roll handled by several hundred people before I used it, YUCK.

A secret on most makeup, though -- anything branded L'oreal is actually manufactured by owner and more expensive Estee Lauder with same ingredients, i.e., mascara, fingernail polish, etc. Why pay more when I can pick up the less expensive version in Boots or Walgreen's?
