Anybody ever see Pee (Ghosts) in Thailand?

Most Thais seem to be terrified of pee's and feel they are common in Thailand. After a couple of weird things I saw in Pattaya I kinda believe them.

My wife is convinced that they attack her in her sleep in her family home. She went to the monks so they could give her a protection fetish. It seemed to work.
I think she gets night terrors which is some scary shit in and of itself.

Had the lights in a condo I was staying at come on by themselves one night when I was knockin boots scared the shit out of my wife Tried to convince her the light wasnt all the way off I think it worked but didnt believe it myself.

Also had a spice bowl lid come shooting off went flying me and my friend witnessed this and couldnt explain it. Happened in Lewenskies in Patts.

I think Thailand if full of pees what do you think? Ever see anything?

^ Yep. Had them all the time. Pi ban were the most annoying -- kept moving stuff and freaking the dogs. Never bothered me. Just told them to fek off and find their soulmates. When one bud was killed, his GF asked me to sleep in their bedroom as she was scared of his ghost. Slept like a baby.

Was sitting in a bar early this morning with a couple of other Teak Door members, gazing up at the chrome poles and we all swear we saw god!

It was a dark and stormy night just outside korat, the rain was coming down in sheets.
As I drove up to an intersection, I noticed this youngish woman standing by the roadside. She was soaked through, so out of pity I pulled up and asked her If she wanted a lift.
Without a word she got into the back of the truck.
After I pulled off I started a conversation, she didn't reply.
I looked in the rear view mirror but could not see her. I stopped the car to see if she had collapsed as she had looked really pale and dishevelled when she got in.
    There was no one there!
I was told a few days later that a young woman had been killed at that intersection a few years before by a hit and run driver.

Those weren't ghosts that you saw in Pattaya though I admit there are some weird creatures around.

Yes, there are ghosts here (as anywhere else), but the Thais are scared of their own shadows, not pii. Most of the time it's their imagination, fuelled by movies & soaps. A few months after my BF died, one of his friends asked me to light a candle and incense stick at his 'shrine' (in my house). I agreed, then asked why. He said that a friend of a friend's GF (someone my BF had met once, casually) was terrified because my BF's pii kept turning up at her house in BKK.

Thais have opened themselves to the possibility of there being something IE they have switched their radio on. We rarely switch on the radio and therefore rarely receive any signals.

I believe and I have experienced.

Had a really strange one in a restaurant once. The missus said put your arm here (the space next to the table) and I felt a sort of energy that felt tingly and warm. Moving my arm I could gauge the energy was the height and width of a normal human. My wife felt the same and so did the waiter. Very strange. We never felt scared or threatened.

I toot my horn when I go past those groups of spirit house along dangerous stretches of road now.

Had this happen to me the other night. Lights on a dimmer turned down but not off, aircon compressor kicks in, power drop lights go out completley with the power drain. Compressor stops, lights come on. Simple.

If there was so many Pee's around, why aren't hospitals overrun with them? So many deaths there but no, they like to hang around the house and be a nuisance.

Hang on, that is actually a lot like they are in real life

The protection fetish was like a stick and a ribbon blessed by a monk to ward off evil spirts.

There are resonable explanations for a lot of paranormal events but I have seen shit with my own eyes that cant be easily explained away. I saw my Great Grandmothers ghost in my bedroom window which was the same room she died in. That house had a lot of strange thing happen when I was a kid.

I am by no means religious but You cannot destroy energy so when you die your energy goes somewhere Catholics say heaven or hell Buddists say your reincarnated and so on.

I believe the opening your mind to the possibilites idea.

And the radio analogy is a good one.

I have seen weird things that I can only put down to hallucination or imagination. It is in our heads, that's all.

If there really were ghosts, you would have thought they could have been measured, caught, or at the very least proven. Yet after all these years, there is absolutely no proof they exist.

Our minds are wonderful things, but they are strangely wired, and we sometimes see things that just aren't there. Just google "optical illusions" for examples.
Any error in tact, fact or spelling is purely due to transmissional errors...

No, we (and all other living creations) are nothing more than energy converters and we die when the conversion mechanism gets broken.
There is no energy left to go somewhere.

Saw a freind of mine do some very weird shit after using a ouija board everyday for two years...he invited the 'soul' he'd been communicating with into his body...started speaking in an abnormally deep voice at times and at one point picked up a piece of slate from the floor and covered a huge brick wall in latin writing, which we never learnt at school, he was speaking it while writing it...very fucking weird. Eventually, after his mum could take no more of him disappearing during the night and doing all this strange stuff, he went to a priest and got exorcised and is a devout Christian to this day..

Not sure if it was a teenage phase or a real...I'm still goign with the former, although he swears blind otherwise.

Teddy, from your repo (thank you btw) I think you misunderstood me. I've seen ghosts (for want of a better word) in many places at many times. I don't believe my BF was visiting this girl, though. He had already passed over by that time and if he was still around (which he wasn't), I think he'd be spending any spiritual energy visiting me, his son or other loved ones, not a virtual stranger.

We don't see everything that is around us. I'm sure there are things next to us that we just can't see with our eyes - according to scientists at least. From wiki:

The "visible window" is so called because it overlaps the human visible response spectrum; the near infrared (NIR) windows lie just out of human response window, and the Medium Wavelength IR (MWIR) and Long Wavelength or Far Infrared (LWIR or FIR) are far beyond the human response region. The eyes of many speciesinsects, such as bees, can see light in the ultraviolet, which is useful for finding nectar in flowers. For this reason, plant species whose life cycles are linked to insect pollination may owe their reproductive success to their appearance in ultraviolet light, rather than how colorful they appear to our eyes. Birds too are able to see into the ultraviolet (300-400 nm) and the sex-dependent markings on some bird plumage is only visible in the ultraviolet range perceive wavelengths different from the spectrum visible to the human eye.

Sure, we can't see radio waves, microwaves, electricity, radiation, heat, etc but it is all measurable and quantifiable. Ghosts aren't, and I think there is a good reason for that - they don't exists, except as a figment of our imagination.

    Nope. Physics is disproving that.
Your view is similar to that of folks who think no other intelligent life form exists in the universe. And, there are other dimensions. Trying to explain it is useless. You have the connection or you don't.
