Bleddy libbies will ruin this country. Fek, I earned everything I have and I'll be fekked if welfare leeches get any of it.
Heil!
How does the Dalai Lama fit into a political identity of "left"?
Because he preaches love and understanding, not hate and war. Just a thought . .
I've seen these tests before and I'm sure they are put out there by Libertarian groups.
If you answer along the lines of being middle ground, non-conformist opposed to authoritarian left/right politics or anti establishment, hey presto! you're a Libertarian... it makes you think you should look more into this kind of grouping,
you're disenfranchised right..? well what better then than to get yourself 'franchised' with some really cool Libertarians like yourself.
But when you look at what they stand for it's just the same as any other political group,
don't think for yourself let us do the thinking for you.
The opposite of Authoritarian is Anti-Authoritarian, not Libertarian.
Libertarians oppose control yet still want government to protect their right to do what they want, so your free to do what you want as long as it doesn't restrict what they want, which is, as well as the more attractive pleasure principles, deregulate markets and pay less tax, they claim social responsibility, but it would be your own responsibility to be socially responsible, not theirs.
The UK Libertarians slogan is 'Life, Freedom and Property' but as with the slogans of the English and French revolutions
which set our modern political standards, there is no mention of Justice. Basically meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Had to get that off my chest.
