Buy yourself a 5 year old set of clothes from Oxfam. Drink 4 litres of cider. Go and sit in your local shopping centre. Sell the Big Issue. Piss your pants. You've arrived at your natural station in life!

Alcohol does invite clarity - that must be the attraction.

Anyway, I don't have enough money to get back to Thailand, but it's okay because the bass player of Madness has offered me a job doing Photoshop stuff but it is in Ongar and I live in...

    Nowhere.

the Gifford Arms in Wolverhampton did a 3 X P lunchtime special .

    Pint of Banks's Mild
Pie - Fleur de Lys, Chicken and Mushroom or Steak and Kidney
    All for a Pound.

I wonder if they still do them .

    It was indeed !
Brewed at Banks's brewery at Chapel Ash ( now owned by Newcastle brewery I think ).
In the 60's I used to ride my motorbike past the place at 6:00 am on the way to work and the smell of the malt used to set me up for the day !! On a cold day the 'fumey' steam settled over the area like smog !- bloody wonderful !

My son still sends me a 6 pack of Banks's Mild every Xmas - dosn't taste the same but the thought is there ! - If only he could get a Fleur de Lys Chicken and Mushroom pie out here it might help !!

Nostalgia ain't what it used to be !

^ What movie career? I have never been in any way involved or attracted to the movie industry, this must be some connection you have made with the camcorder editing, as related yet as far apart as ornithology and plane spotting.

Being a fisherman has always been in my blood, and it turns out my grandma had a brother who left me a trawler.
