    Should I invest In This?

A friend of mine has approached me and asked if I would like to invest in his companies new project.

They have a food canning plant in Samut Prakan and have just put in for government license to collect the stray dogs from the streets of Bangkok and Greater Bangkok areas.

They plan to lease quite a large number of vans to collect and deliver the dogs to the slaughter (they already have permission to build) next to the canning plant, the plan is to use the stray dogs in a new brand of dog food they will launch and sell in all the major outlets in the Kingdom.

What do you think - has this got potential?

Don't think the economics would work unless it was aimed at the luxury end of the market.

The company will be getting paid for every dog it takes from the street and disposes of.

Why not collect them from the dog charities, that would make collection easier, just mention they will be going to good homes.

Also it maybe worth contacting loytoy to get a good deal on plastic buckets, another idea would be to label it as chicken and try to get 7/11 to market it for you in their burgers.

Mr Dog, you're thinking along the right lines here for sure. McDonalds, Burger King and KFC all pledge to use local products they must be worth approaching . . . especially McD's, they've got the McSomTam salad so how about having a "McK9 Set" on the main menu and then a "Sausagedog Burger" to the breakfast menu . . . there's mileage in this. Great potential, catch stray dogs chop them up, feed it to the free stray dogs via well meaning nice Ladys so the dogs get many healthy babies, and the circle is complete, a never ending supply

If there are any unwanted pets of course we would take them from the owners as the company can get the head price from the government and then the meat put through the processing, I guess it's better in the long run than them being put on the street.

Great idea and could be returnable and reusable.

We could use the 20 litre buckets for large dogs and 10 litre for the average standard Thai Soi dog.

4 litre containers may be used for special delicacy body parts and our flat rectangular containers for road kill.

Great idea Noodles and you have my number!

Surely it would be possible to export the product and get an export credit. Korea springs to mind, they love dog meat there.

What about all the fur? What about all the bones? I don't think you have got the makings of any kind of businessman noodles, you are just too fucking simple minded.

Open a "Pet Holiday Kennels" so that you get paid to look after the dogs for a fortnight and then bung them in the mincer and say there was an accident.
