    The grass is always greener...

    First, let me say my Thai isn't that fantastic, so I might just be wrong, but I don't think so...

    Ad I saw today on Thai tv for Liptovitan. Thai barman eyeing up gorgeous blonde Western woman. In the background is a Thai soap on tv, showing two ugly old Thai (of course) women yelling at each other like fishwives. Goes for the Western girl, gets somewhere & gives a 'v' for victory sign. Now, where have I heard that concept before? But I'm sure the Thai women were the sweet & beautiful ones...

    The ad's correct, the western women are faaaaaaaar less hassle than a couple of thai wives!

    Not really . But no matter how well you learn the language, Being a a second language it is just so much easier to tune them out. The reverse has got to be true no?
