    Aussies being Pished - Scamming those Aussies

    Pished not pissed as they spend most of their lives, well in between sexual liasons with overly willing and friendly sheep, anyway here's a nice pishing attempt I got from someone pretending to be The Commonwealth Bank in Australia.

    There are a large number of spam emails being sent to customers claiming to be from the Bank.

    In order to prevent these activities on our online accounts, we have introduced the provision for registration on your IP address form which you access your NetBank account. These IP address will be register on our database. All login attempts from a different location apart from the specified, will need phone comfirmation.

    Click Log On to access your account and confirm your IP address now. You must repeat this operation for the second IP address if there is any. We apologies for any inconvenience caused by this action.

    Seems that Aussies are inordinately targeted by these Bucket shop operations too- many based out of Bangkok. Over the last twenty years, the Australian public well and truly took on board the latter day Capitalist maxim that everyone should be an investor- Australian rates of stock market participation are thus very high. Thats all well and good, but it means there are a whole bunch of mug punters too.
