Artificial !!! silly use of language mean,t natural brewing of Beer using Barley
Right getting back to Beer ....Where the hell has Singha Gold gone???? it almost tasted like beer from the UK...granted it wasn't 6.4% more like 4.8% but it was a great tipple...and now like all things it's totally disappeared .
If anyone has any info' on this I will be very happy to hear it...Thailands best tasting beer
by the way when I used to get it it never had this lable? I just want some more...now if poss' and i'm at work!!!! it was that good.
Singha gold was a light beer
Now they have Singha light
Beer brewing takes up too much time, space and as I seem to remember stinks the place out. I was shown how to make lao khow drinkable by soaking some sort of ginger in it for a few days, the mrs knows the right sort, I forget it's name as usual. The resulting drink is a cheap way of getting merry, almost as good as the stuff they sell in various jars along sois for 10 baht a go, or 60 for a bottle. I get tired of beer sometimes and now good spirits that I used to buy, and wine of, is way past my 28k a month budget.
Traditionally, the UK has had prices that are reasonably similar for beer, whether bought in supermarkets or the pub. Many Euro countries have a much bigger differential - very expensive bars, very cheap supermarkets.
Uk pubs are actually very cheap these days. Those that are left, that is...
^I believe the 99p pint of Green King IPA at Wetherspoons is still ongoing.
I've gone back to work at times like these the pounds are for saving and the baht is for earning. Also after six months of TV and reading and sleeping and Oxycontin one gets rather bored and spongy brained.
How much is a pint in an UK Pub ? I mean London for example. I remember it was quite cheap compared to other world capitals,
For 200 THB I can have a nice 33ml beer on the Champs Elysees,
same as in Soi Nana,
Guess that would be a problem.Originally Posted by mad_dog

drinking good beer in Wetherspoons is a bit like eating home made ice cream in the toilet
^ The real one, Td's GB isnt a wanker. You are though.
Deuchers ? I.P.A is a gooden!
Wetherspoons the only UK brewery makin money because of the burger n chips plus a pint for silly money.
Forces other pubs to close cos they cannot compete.
Soon no pubs left except wetherspoons and a few high end places.
Welcome to the socialist republic of GB, a land wasted by successive government interference.
No choice and no freedoms worth havin.
They're not a brewery.Originally Posted by chassamui
