    Geoff's Rant.

Most of you are familiar with The Beautiful Lancashire thread and I'm sure it is appreciated as a corner of the Forum which runs smoothly.

Geoff, appears to have got somewhat carried away with a post which I feel would have been better aired amongst this section of the Forum and consequently I am placing the same here under the heading as shown.

The post concerned and my response on The Lancashire thread is self explanatory.

Many of you may feel it requires a response to.

Personally, I didn't want my thread running into a section of this nature.

    Here we go:-

Mathos, you are the greatest. I am, a one million percent Lancashire lad, and so proud of it.

And all you wankers, who live in Thailand, pretending to be happy and content, and all the rest of it, slagging everyone, and everything off, even the country of Thailand, and it's people, who put up with you, and let you live there, knowing what a bunch of tosser's you are. You are frightened to go home to your own country, because you know that you would not survive, and you could not get jobs. I lived in Thailand and loved it, but realised that I did not belong, and was not wanted, so I came home to Lancashire,(gods country). I will die happy. Think about it you boys.

Think very hard. Life after Thailand.

I'm glad you enjoy the thread Geoff.

It'd be a bugger of a job to compensate an unpredictable issue if it wasn't to your liking, that's for sure.

However, it's not really the place to make an assault with such incivility on members and readers of the Teakdoor Forum when the thread itself is so popular with several ladies and as recently mentioned, children of members.

Consequently I am going to make a request that the moderators remove your post from this thread and I in turn will place the same into The Teakdoor Lounge under a suitable heading.

Geoff's Rant, might be a fitting supplication.

I sense a great deal of hurt in your post and feel it deserves to be aired, the issues you have raised could be quite interesting.

I rather sense that tokenism may have been a critical part of your experiences here, all the same I'm sure several expats amongst these pages can create some very interesting and formidable responses.

I'm certainly not qualified to respond in the manner your post demands.

So, I'll look forward to reading the reactions, hopefully in the confines of The Teakdoor Lounge

Well, at least you realised people didn't like you.

Doesn't mean that it's the same for others.

    Lancashire is shit, anyway.

Strange how some people who give something a go and find it is not for them, then end up resenting those who do the same thing happily and/ or successfully. Actually, when you look at it this way, not really very strange at all. I suppose it's a mixture of envy, and self resentment at ones own failure.

But this sentiment does not apply in reverse- if someone tries out Thailand (or any other place) and it doesn't work for them, well all I have to say is at least you gave it a go and better luck in your next port of call.

A pont well made Mathos. It sounds to me like someone talking to the bottom of a spirit bottle. Strange how alcohol removes the haze for some people in a rather scary way.

Exactly, why knock the people that are able to make a go of it.... envy and resentment sounds most likely, otherwise they'd have to admit to being a failure.

Oh bullshit. Returning home to regroup is not necessarily a failure, returning home with tail between legs and giving up is. If you try and fail you get up and try again, and again, and a-fucking-gain. You truly have failed only when you quit.

Did you read the OP Frankie? didnt say anything about regroup, said everything about giving up.

Also the fact that he then referes to ALL farang residents in thailand as wankers because they/we are still here suggests he harbours feelings of jealousy and anger.

well Geoff, I think you have a point, not a very good one albeit born out of failure and envy

There are many expats who seem to slag all and sundry off, but they would do that anywhere they lived, even if in Lancashire

I hope Geoff comes on board to give us the story which lead to his rant.

Why did he go to Thailand in the first place?

Did he live in a village?

    Set up home?

    Family?

Was he stripped of all valuables and possessions over-night?

Did he fall foul of the law?

There could be some very interesting points here, an interesting story behind the same.

He might well have been under the influence some-what as he made the post (Chas mentioned the possibility,) lets face it, it can happen.

Be interesting to know what age bracket you are in as well Geoff.

    I hope you reply.

I hope Geoff comes on board to give us the story which lead to his rant.me too, could be fun and informative.

Why did he go to Thailand in the first place? Got divorced from a nasty british x. a few mates were headed to thailand for a 2 week holiday in exotic thailand and encouraged him to come along.

Did he live in a village? he started in in the bright lights of bangkok, out drinking every night, taking home a different SLAGDOG each time, sometimes more than one. then he fell in love. he moved to her village, until she kicked him out of the home that he had just finished building for her, and he brother moved in instead. . then he lived in the forest, stealing food and night and eating cockroaches and buffalo shit just to stay alive.,

Set up home? see above, at this village he built a house worthy of his love for this transexual ladyboy

Family? well, apparently he had got this girl pregnant the very first time they ahd sex, and he is sure that he squirted up her bum that night, but must have happened how else could she have got pregnant, and funny how the baby come a month or two early, and doesnt seem to have any western features at all, but the x wont let him see the baby anymore the brother is helping take care of it..

Was he stripped of all valuables and possessions over-night? nope - the process happened slowly over a period of 12 months. including all his pension fund and retirement savings back in Ennerland.

Did he fall foul of the law? The x told all these lies about him and set him up with drugs and slagdogs to the police in an effort to get him out, in fact half of her 'brothers' seemed to be important police generals and thats why he had to leave, cos other wise he would have stayed you know!

There could be some very interesting points here, an interesting story behind the same.
As interesting as that fruitloop Dino from yootoob
    .

He might well have been under the influence some-what as he made the post (Chas mentioned the possibility,) lets face it, it can happen.under the inlfuence of TRUE lurrrve,

Be interesting to know what age bracket you are in as well Geoff. he is a spritely 64 years young.

This guy is a liar, I never pretend to be happy and content but then it's better than being just as miserable in the UK. Slagging off everything including Thailand, yes I'll go along with that, but you have to have something to do until they start selling beer again at 5 P.M.
