    How about a TD cruise?

I found this and we could maybe get a better group rate, would be a barrel of fun.
I found a Somali cruise package that departs from Sawakin (in the Sudan) and docks at Bagamoya (in Tanzania). The cost is a bit high [at] $800 per person double occupancy but I didn't find it that offensive.
What I found enticing is that the cruise company is encouraging people to bring their 'High powered weapons' along on the cruise. If you don't have weapons you can rent them right there on the boat. They claim to have a master gunsmith on board and will have reloading parties every afternoon.
The cruise lasts from 4-8 days and nights and costs a maximum of $3200 per person double occupancy (4 days). All the boat does is sail up and down the coast of Somalia waiting to get hijacked by pirates. Here are some of the costs and claims associated with the package.
$800.00 US/per day double occupancy (4 day max billing)
M-16 full auto rental $25.00/day ammo at 100 rounds of 5.56 armor piercing ammo at 15.95
Ak-47 rifle [at] No charge. ammo at 100 rounds of 7.62 com block ball ammo at 14.95
Barrett M-107 .50 cal sniper rifle rental $55.00/day ammo at 25 rounds of .50 cal. armor piercing at 9.95
Crew members can double as spotters for 30.00 per hour (spotting scope included).
They even offer RPG's at 75 bucks and 200 dollars for 3 standard loads
"Everyone gets use of free complimentary night vision equipment and coffee and snacks on the top deck from 7pm-6am."
Meals are not included but seem reasonable.
Most cruises offer a mini-bar... these gung ho entrepreneurs offer....... .. get this.....
"MOUNTED MINIGUN AVAILABLE [at] 450.00 per 30 seconds of sustained fire"
They advertise group rates and corporate discounts... ...and even claim "FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY"
They even offer a partial money back if not satisfied... .here's some text from the ad.
"We guarantee that you will experience at least two hijacking attempts by pirates or we will refund back half your money including gun rental charges and any unused ammo (mini gun charges not included)
How can we guarantee you will experience a hijacking? We operate at 5 knots within 12 miles of the coast of Somalia. If an attempted Hijacking does not occur we will turn the boat around and cruise by at 4 knots. We will repeat this for up to 8 days making three passes a day along the entire length of Somalia.
At night the boat is fully lit and bottle rockets are shot off at intervals and loud disco music beamed shore side to attract attention. Cabin space is limited so respond quickly. Reserve your package before May 29 and get 100 rounds of free tracer ammo in the caliber of your choice."]
And while on this subject here is a PS.

    CNN/ April 27, 2009

*The US Navy has stated that the Navy seals could have acted faster and rescued the
captain of the Maersk Alabama last week, but had to wait until the White House
could confirm that none of the pirates were related to Obama.*

Been through them waters lots of times in the mid to late 1970'ties even was in Somalia with Ecuadorian reefer from the Lauritzen company loading bananas, at that time all was controlled by Russians even the Pilot was an arrogant Russian prick.

Anyway I don't understand why they don't outsource the clean-up to Blackwater, they would cruise around down there some months and then come back reporting that they had not seen one single pirate, when they then was asked why they thought that the piracy had stopped, they would answer "beats us go figure"

Has anyone seen the latest episode of Southpark where the kids run away from home to become pirates in Mogadishu. F'ing hilarious. They all go there to be proper swash bucklers but are met by a group of AK'47 wielding dickheads who cant even take over a ship until the kids teach them how.

Why not, In USA we are allowed to own guns, they have taken away another freedom from you Aussies and you seen to lay down and take it up the ass very well, I am American, and as such you have to take my freedoms, I will not lay down and lick your ass just because you say so.

But then we are not chicken shit, as some seem readily to admit.

Not really, I have no guns here but do own a nice smaller collection of some very fine guns, but my collection does not excede 100 weapons, but does with you asslickers that allowed your government to take yours, but then you do not live in a democracy as we do so you are not any better off than a Thai who has basically the same form of govt as you.
You have to support a bunch of Royalty that are very wealthy and you have to support them and make them richer daily for doing Jack Shit..

At least we have a president and congressmen and senators who have to steal what they get plus a salary that they themselves set.

But, we're not frightened of our government, so we don't feel the need to have them, unless you're talking about shotguns for shooting rabbits.

Why a shotgun for rabbits, I shoot them with a 22 rimfire and pop em in the head and some folks eat em.
Cotton tails, but not Jack Rabbits tho as they are all red meat and I know of no one that ears them, but I think they are hare.
But then I do not know the difference between a rabbit and a hare.

I use a shotgun for birds such as Chukkar, Chinese ring nech pheasants, Blue, Spruce and Ruff Grouse, Quail, both Valley, Bobwhite and mountain, Ducks and geese, and my favorite next to valley quail is Mourning Doves., and Hungarian partridge.
Praire Chickens and Sage Hens are also a treat.

You can usually tell if they are adults. The hares are the big buggers; they also tend to be solitary

They also taste good, if you like gamey meat.

Because a shotgun is the only gun a person should be allowed to own if he or she has shown a need for its use.
