Late night Teakdoor, I Love It!

I think there's nothing better than a bit of late night Teakdoor and a couple of beers. (appart from the obvious)

I'm sat in the garden right now on wifi, its my day off tomorrow, the air is clear, I can see the star (i'm in Bangkok, we don't get much of a sky) the dogs are asleep and there's no-one about.

I'll probably get the hourly call from the wife again in a minute "Are you coming to bed?" (What does she think I am some kinda machine!) but I'm having a bit of banter with some people who I've only met a few of. It's great.

For some reason the dude who took care of my house over songkran didn't drink all the beers I bought him for doing it, so I've still got 13 beers left in the Tuud Yen.

I'd better drink one more or I'll be left with an unluky number of beers in my fridge.

The graveyard shifts great! Who's with me!!

More early morning than Late night Freshy, but I like it as well. I some times go for a stroll but all the dickheads who own dogs, one house has 11 of them, they complain that I disturb the dogs. (wheres the scratching my balls smiley?)

Yep, but it's the morning shift for me. No beers, but it gives me something to do in between all the healthy morning routine stuff.

Im with you guys. House is empty, all my furniture gone apart from a blow up bed. Sign the house over tomorrow, one night in a B&B, then it's LOS her i come. It's a bit weird, just me, my laptop and a radio.
I like the night shift, but it's only just beginning here, 10.42pm and counting.

^^ I achieve that by living in a different time zone, so it's not too difficult.

When its fvckin hot like this, I go early to avail myself of the A/C, my kids go to bed around 9 PM and myself about an hour later.
So then I wake about 3.30 AM, perfect, make a coffee or two, piss around on the computer, make a nice tortilla for breakfast and get ready for my walk at 6 am.

This is the bit I like, you leave a few comments and maybe some jokes, then go to the fridge and get a beer and have a ciggy and see whats been said when you come back.

    See you in a bit.

Replace fridge with dumbells and beer with reps, and we're doing practically the same thing.

A little story to keep you entertained.

Yesterday i was tooling down the highway, 90 Kph. stereo blasting out ZZ Top, minding my own Biz, when I spotted a snake on the road.
Said snake stepped out and waved me to stop, well if I can help it I never stop for these thieving pieces of shite, so I drove around him (squashing a snake may be fun but its not a good look if you wanna stay here) and kept going.
Usually they have another snake pit 5 km down the road and they radio ahead so usually I do a U turn into the return side of the divided road and wave as I am going by.
This tactic has served me well over the last 3 years. But this time unbeknown to me, said snake jumped into the snakemobile and chased me, I eventually stopped and he can over to see what he could tap me up for.
The point of the story is if you did this in the west, the snake wouldn't greet you with a snake smile and a salute would they?
Well they do here, credit where its due, he came up to me all smiles and waddy krups, no mention of "why to you try to evade me?" or "why didn't you stop when I put on my siren?".

Gave him 150 Baht and we were both on our way.

I don't know what I was fined for, maybe he didn't like ZZ top.

I'm here too. Everyone is still sleeping. Having a cup of coffee, while catching up on things on TD , and waiting for the sun to rise. Getting ready to water the flowers, feed the fish, and dogs.

Old age probably, although I'm not sure if that is a crime in itself.

Ha! Says the ten timer. You ain't here helping me vacuum and wash floors. Or feather dust in a swishy little black number. I'm wearing my Blanko high heels -- a girl's gotta have fun doing the cleaning. Should I throw out the Chinese garlic? It looks a bit shrivelled, like a dotty's dodo.

    Here's one for you,

A motorist was driving towards a stop sign in the dead of night, he slowed down and looked both ways but nothing was coming so he carried on his way.

Suddenly a police siren blared out and he was pulled over by the rozzers.

"Excuse me sir, why did you fail to stop at the last stop sign" said the rozzer.

"Well I slowed down and looked and there was no-one about so I carried on" said the guy.

"Do you understand the meaning of the stop sign?" Said the rozzer.

"Yeah but come on mate, there's no-one around, I slowed down and looked and it seemed all clear."

At which point the rozzer reached through the window and pulled the guy through and started beating his head against the bonnet of his car.

"Stop, Stop, Stop!!!" Said the guy.

"Would you like me to stop sir, or simply slow down?"

8.30 AM here in beautiful downtown Brisbane. We've just got back from taking my son to school. I say we because my son is with me . Today's the first day of second term but it's only for the teachers. The students start tomorrow.
