About 6/7 months old, I think you're supposed to wait until a kitten is 6 months old before getting it fixed.

She only escaped out of the house about a month ago, gone for 2 or 3 days before she came back.

Lately I've noticed that she is getting well fat and her teats are swollen.

bugger.

last thing i need is a dozen kittens

There is a cat that wanders around my neighborhood, basically wild. I've spent teh better part of year getting her tamed. She is now tame, house broken and pregnant.

hardly ever leaves teh house these days.

My cat got pregnant when she was about 4 and a half months old and had 4 kittens a month ago. The runt of the litter lasted 2 weeks before it died and I now have three little trouble makers running around. I got the mom fixed last week and will get the little ones fixed as soon as I can. Kittens having kittens.
