Thread: Do you feel sorry for poor Thai men?

One can but wonder what runs thru the heads of Thai men, especially those driving taxis or motorbike taxis in the touristy areas, when they see girls they maybe went to school with (well, probably not, but you know what I mean) heading off to bed with Western men. Sure, these guys dream of Japanese chicks, but its the Thai girls with the Westerners who are their natural partner-material.

BTW - I don't feel sorry for any of them, or anybody else really that is of sound mind and body, cos that's enough to be happy and I'm sure most of them are.

As with most societies I would think that a woman who sells her services is considred beyond the pale. My honest belief woud be that Thai's that work in tourist areas do not think of them as being like the real world, more a theme park. I'm sure that there is some resentment though, especially if someone is single and wants a partner. If I were to see an attractive English woman with a (rich) foreigner I could either unrealistically think, 'If it wasn't for him she'd be with me', or moan, 'Life isn't fair!' - Or I could think to myself, 'Lucky bastard!' - I tend to the latter.

Although they might just feel relieved that one more nasty selfish little bitch gold-digger has her claws in a foreigner and not into them

the original post actually disgusted me - prior to this I had a bit of respect for smeg "oh small god of controversy", but this actually hurts me for some reason... that one human being could exhibit so much contempt for others - the nazi's thrived off this potential in humans... to objectify and revile a group

As for do I feel sorry for Thai men. Yes I do. My mates are totally incompetant with women. They get broken hearted all the time by various scallies.

One of my closest friends hooked up with a gold digger by mistake and when he found out he hospitalized her husband. She is now trying to get more money out of him for damages even after stealing his Grand Cherokee.
