Anyone heard of an International school in Samui closing its gates today with no warning, owner nowhere to be found.

This is your first opening post, "a school has closed in Koh Samui," that is not news.

It's just that I am extremely passionate and interested in eductaion in Thailand, and pissed off with the way 'some' schools operate purely for vast profits and offer sub standard education, which is obviously to the detriment of the student. But that discussion is for another time and another place.
