This ones quite bizarre, when the dog wakes up, obviously wondering what it was just doing

I've never had pets or dogs so I've never seen or even heard about anything like this, it is common?

I've had dogs that sleepwalk lying down but I've never had one that woke itself up.

Some rotten bar steward has been putting cheddar cheese in Bizkit's Alpo.

Had several dogs that will make small running motions with their legs and the occasional small barking noise, but Bizkit there is a real champ. Ought to be a Cruft's category..

Dreaming and leg motion and woofing and whining is normal as far as I know from dogs I have owned, but never to the extent of jumping up or waking themselves up.
My oldest son would walk in his sleep and go to the bathroom, but there was a short wall with the door into the bathroom, on the outside of the wall in the hallway way was the wifes catbox and on the other side of the wall was the toilet, the kid would get up asleep and walk down to the bathroom door, but turn left before going thru the door and piss in the cat box damn near every nite, I got a hell of a kick out of that.
