In Hong Kong today. What shall I do?

Never been here before, have until my flight tomorrow lunchtime to see Hong Kong.

It says here I am at the Intercontinental Hotel Grand Stanford which is located at Tsim Sha Tsui East (somewhere in Kowloon I gather).

What shall I do? Any recommendations from any of you HK experts?

A drink would be good as I havent had one since Friday night.

    Cheers

Irish bar in kowloon is good. otherwise get onto the island and forget the rest.

    Victoria peak is a must.

as is the tram up it.

    trains are quick and easy.

star ferry over to main island is cheap

    wanchai for hookers etc.

Lan Kwai fon (spelling) for hot local tottie walking around, tapas, expats etc.

I'd go for lunch at the Peak - Cafe Deco. Good food, international. spectacular views. For a bit of a splurge, and HK's best Island skyline view, go to Felix at the top of the Peninsula, night time. You can just drink in the cocktail bar- or eat in the restaurant if you don't mind splashing money.

Night time, maybe Lan Kwai Fong- I think Insomnia is still going, but loads of bars. Schnurrbarts for german ale and food is good. Later Wanchai- Fenwicks or the New makati both VG pick-up places, mainly filipina. avoid the GoGo's. If you must stay on Kowloon side, check out Knutsford Tce- Kln's 'answer to lan kwai fong'.

Chum King Mansions in kowloon, (near where you are) are scary and dangerous cheap apartments with loads of nigerians selling girls and drugs outside.

I just love being in Hong Kong and walking around the streets and especially around the market area in Kowloon.

Plenty of good picture opportunities and try to find bird road.

Heaps of small bars to wander into and I have found a lot cheaper than Wan Chai.

Have a great time whatever you get up to.

I would go and smell office girls.

Nothing nicer than smelling a freshly washed office girl on the way to work.
