Not really certain where to put this, so I thought I would throw it out to the lounge area with the rest of you TD expats and see what the hook draws in.

The wife and and I have a condo that she orginally bought. Ain't much, but it is where we got our start many years ago. Basically, it is a studio living space that we updated. After a year or two, we moved out and started our adventure.

Since it is empty we decided to either rent or sale the damn thing. The wife found the following website.

But then... no reply. I have personally emailed him 2 times and have had no reply.

B3,000 is really minute. However, it is the principle of the matter.

The old boy took the deposit but has not responded in kind. Now, what would you do? If any of the TD members know this gentleman, suggest to him that it might be in his best interest to reply.

The dude has a less than sterling name in the Bangna area..... apparently charges way over the owners price and pockets the difference WITHOUT any notice to the seller.

Just sold a bare bones to a couple here. Were they pissed or what that the identical condo goes for 30% less?!

I have had dealings with this guy on a business level.

He is a bit odd to say the least and seems to be a bit of a control freak, he also sent us an email recently regarding some investment opportunity GUARANTEEING wonderful returns.

An associate of mine also inquired about a rental property once. After deciding on a property through a different agency he apparently become very pushy and even quite aggressive.

In short........ STAY CLEAR.

I would doubt it very very much.

The thing with this guy is that he is offering very high guaranteed returns and ZERO risk. It just doesn't happen and if he was in a regulated market then he would be pulled up instantly by the authorities for doing so.

I always do shite with stocks anyway, about 22 years ago I bought into a software company, yep shows I got vision don't it, only poxy software company in the world never to have increased in share price in all that time, alphanumeric, fok you.

My missus's one room apartment still gets hits every few months from Mr Roomfinder. Put it on there 6 years ago and forgot to take it off and now don't know how to.

Still get regular emails from people asking to rent it.

Even an old mate found it, sent and email not realising it was me.

Here is the latest.

David the owner of Bangkok Condos, Condo for Sale & Rent Thailand, BangkokCondos.com has not replied to my repeated emails. Now this has upset me.

I see only two possible reasons for this. One, either David or his immediate family has had a sudden serious illness or injury; or he has taken the money and run. Hopefully, David and his family are in good health.

However, if David has abscounded with my 3000 baht, here is my offering.

Hillybilly will offer 2 nights and 3 days free at D&G Resort to anyone for bringing this crook in.

David, I am not a newbie in Thailand.

I just now got off the phone with David. Seems he has recieved our payment, but he also recieves about 30-40 emails per day and perhaps it got lost.

When I asked him about the payment, he replied please send everything again and he will check it out. He then said that he had just recieved my email only 7 minutes ago.

I said I was tired of fucking around. But not so politely.

When, I mentioned that I had posted my views on Teakdoor.com, he went, will nuts...
