agreed, but if YOU were some nubile young underage delicacy, would you happily allow your family to sell off your virginity to the highest bidder, as often happens (i have been made this offer many times in the villages,AND in bangkok)
i still say all the sex-trade/slavery shit has more to do with the culture than it has to do with poverty or willing german tourists.

well done , you've managed to negate any talk of the real problem regarding the world oldest profession in Thailand , aka the sector that makes up the considerable majority of the industry .

How many middle and upper class Thais sell their underaged daughters into the sex trade? Certainly Thais love money, but sexually exploiting their own children for monetary gain seems to be directly related to financial hardship. I have no direct evidence of this, but I've never met a hooker whose father was a doctor, lawyer or accountant.
