I appears that the current government, not happy about the current "light" laws regarding Lese Majeste. have decided to re inforce this archain disgrace by further "beefing up". (Thai local radio is reporting the change, but howverm completely neglects to tell the public who, how or why, people are currently charged).
I learn't today that Giles Ji Ungpakorn has been cited for Lese Majeste, and needs to appear before the "Royal Thai Police again tomorrow, (Tuesday).
It appears these cretins have picked the wrong man to pick on this time with their hideous accusations, I reckon they have a fight on their hands, and, not being one to lie down, with a bit of luck will shame these bastards throughout the international community.
There are apparently at least 30 current charges of Lese Majeste, which carries a 15 year jail sentence!!! Democracy my ASS!

The BBC's Jonathon Head is another who has been cited, along with some poor Aussie, who has been rotting in a cell for the past few months!

Where are these peoples Embassies???? what are they doing to help the poor buggers?

If the case of Giles goes to court, it should prove interesting, and with a bit of luck, pour shame and blame on this fucking retarded bunch of CRIMINALS, masquerading as a government, they are a disgrace to the Thai people.

Giles' old man was actually dropped into Thailand during the Japanese occupation ( Never occupied my ass) and fought against the Japanese, but was captured, later branded a communist and forced to flee - married to a London girl I believe.

Thailand is a lot smaller than USSR but seems to want to follow along the lines of Uncle Joe, but they will never make it, for one thing there are not enough people in the country to fill the graves Joe had dug, but with secret laws to silence anyone, they are running along the same lines.

I know I live here, I enjoy it "most of the time", but thank fucking GOD I was born in a real country! I didn't appreciate it at the time, but as you get older, you can appreciate the freedom we actuallly had, along with many other things that this Joke of a country will never even begin to understand!
