How Often Do U Brush Your Teeth?

Here are some question for TD members. Thanks to all who participate.

    Questions:

    1. How often do you brush, per day?

    2. What brand of tooth paste do you use.

    I'll begin:

I brush at least 2 times per day. Once in the morning, and once before going to sleep.

I currently use the brand "Colgate."

    Idiosyncracy:

I always brush after having a cup of coffee (in the AM, or before working at night) to keep my teeth white (if it helps).

    Over to you....

Actually, I've condition myself to brush at least 5-6 times daily. I might be wondering around the house while brushing - forget myself - and I've been brusing for a half-hour......not terribly obsessed, just like to brush my teeth. Use the herbal stuff.

Morning and night with floss. Then lightly after every meal coz I always get bits stuck inbetwixt and it drives me batty. Gargle in the morning with some Oral B stuff.
I use Colgate, too. Brought up with Crest and hate it. Sensodyne for a few days before dental checks as a few teeth are sensitive near the gums.

Twice and use that horrible smokers tooth paste that I can give up when I finish smoking in the New Year.

My teeth are not wonderful, and after eating too many sweets when I was young and not being made to brush my teeth.

    This might be too much.

It could wear down the enamel on your teeth. I must admit however, I'm not well versed on the topic of over brushing.

I carry mine in my pocket and only put them in my mouth if trying to impress a Bar Girl.

But my grandma did wear hers unless she was eating, then she would wrap em in a tissue and put em in her purse.

OH yes, and I use sensodyne, the blue gel stuff every evening.

^ Helps to ease sensitive teeth -- ie, if your teeth freak when you eat icey-cold foods or hot ones. I don't like it much, so only use it on occasion.

Like all Sensodyne-F toothpastes, when used every day Sensodyne-F Fresh Mint relieves the pain of sensitive teeth by building a barrier that blocks the pain of cold and hot, and helps prevent it from coming back. And Sensodyne-F Fresh Mint has a mild mint flavor with a great taste, keeping your mouth feeling fresh and clean.

Twice per day, and I use whatever wife buys. We've got a few bathrooms, and there seems to be a different toothpaste in every one. One herby Thai one, one salty Thai one, and a colgate at the moment.

^^ Well, you can't eat it, MM. Yep. It seems to discolour my teeth a bit, so only use it before dental appts and sometimes when one is really sensitive -- but that usually means I need a checkup.

    Thanks for the info.

Speaking of this, I need to get my teeth cleaned (scaled).

It's been at least 3 years. Probably 4.

    Only once per day?

This can make sense because of the wearing down of the gums.

    Any sources on this?

    TIA.

How the fuck you gonna wear down Gums,, Christ on a popcycle stick,, wearing down of the enamel on your teeth.
Tooth paste is just the same as rubbing compound that you buff your car with and contains grit and grit will wear tooth enamel,, Very elemental my dear Watson.

    Thank you sire.

But I have read somewhere that over-brushing wears down the enamel.

can someone please confirm this or deny it?
