How often do you use Deoderant?

The same, except I dont use deodorant, I also only use ambient water temperature unless we go through a cold spell like this year. Hell the wife has been commenting how nice I smell in the morning. She thought I was using cologne. Nope only a good soap for both the head and body for over 30 years now.

My workshop is on average 10DegC above ambient, I need something to mask the stench of my arm pits, its amazing how much water you can pour into your body during the day but never need to piss.

I have now also starting using a Loofah and liquid body gel for cleansing, I fell very refreshed after a shower although sometimes the nipples are a tad sore.

If one eats the correct food for the climate then body odour is reduced.
Showers 3 times a day should be the norm for most due to the heat of the place with a change of shirt each time. Any deodorant that does not cause rashes is ok for most males. Have you noticed that it is generally us farangs who stick with Western food that have the body odour, not the locals.

Yeah not really an option for some, I work 10hrs a day in a building that has no insulation............ how do you suggest I minimize my body odour ?

For what its worth, my staff (locals that do not eat western food) suffer from yucky body odour by the end of the working day.

A few months ago I started shaving my armpits once a month. The lack of armpit hair is less bacteria (the bacteria on the hair) and it help contain under-arm odors in the hot and humid Summer.

Does any other male shave his armpits for this reason?

Have you started wearing lipstick as well?

I work at home and don't go out as much as most.

It's easy for me not to bother with deodorant, but Mrs. Rakers is quick to kick up a fuss if I get a bit ripe.

Have to shower whatever though. Not just for hygiene, it helps to keep my mind fresh for my job.

I apply deodorant after my morning shower. However, for clarification purposes, there is a difference between "deodorant" and "anti-perspirant with deodorant". Deodorants typically do not have the metal constituent you mention. I am one that does not perspire much so deodorant works.

As for stench, the greatest portion of the smell is a by product of what you intake. Heavy coffee drinkers, cigarette smokers and regular drinkers will stink a joint up quick if not properly addressed. Toss in a heavy dose of garlic and fish sauce and you got some REAL funk......

It's the underarm hair that makes you smell. Women do not smell as badly as men because we (most of us) shave our oxters.

I just buy a can of chang,shake and spray all over liberally.

those roll-ons and spray trap sweat under the skin
sure i read somewhere that it ain't healthy for the ladies to do it too often
under the arm-pits and men as well i guess
too much beer can make one stink as well as cheap shit grub.
a good ole sweat with exercise then hot then cold shower
takes care of it for me.
may use after-shave.
