Sorry, but everybody smells. You just can't smell your own.
MM, I have used rock salt stones (som sam?) for years. It does not zap the sweat but it zaps any odour. You can buy it in almost any general shop; about Bt15 a kilo when I was last there (mostly used to clean murky standing water -- just swish it around in the tank). The pieces are very jagged raw, but you can rinse them to help smooth and then they get smoother after some use. Last for years. I gave some to a Korean friend who had smelly feet. He was overjoyed -- eradicated the smell immediately after his shower and all day in shoes. Just apply it wet to underarms or wherever you get sweat smell. This is a big chunk, likely fashioned by Western voodooers. That size would last a lifetime.

Use antiperspirant (Gillette Clear Gel) if I'm going somewhere I don't want sweat stains to show on underarms. Otherwise, seldom use.

Er, that's the only reason I wear it on rare occasion! Embarrassing when those huge sweat stains pop out when I'm at a formal meeting with distinguished libbies.

Bacteria on your skin and the shit you eat that makes ya stink,, work with someone that eats garlic by the pound and other such foods, like the Thai eat, and they would stink worse than they do if they worked.

    Google body odor,

Conventional wisdom suggests that perspiration is the cause of body odor. However, perspiration by itself is basically odorless, but it is the bacteria and odors coming from other sources that are the real culprits. Anaerobic bacteria, which flourish when your body doesn't have enough oxygen, may well be the cause of your body odor. As the body's metabolism goes to work, it gives off odors which is the body's way of ridding itself of waste products. Any imbalances in metabolism will result in stronger odors. We suggest you visit our Bad Breath, Foot Odor and Sweaty Hands sections for in-depth discussions of some of the causes and remedies

How often do you use...03-12-2008 05:23 PMNortonYou're probably right. Most long haired, hippy, pot smokin, bomb throwin professors never take a shower much less wear deordorant.

Nothing worse than a man who reeks of perfume. Anyone whose worked in the middle east will have experienced the subtle aroma from folks who think cologne is a substitute for washing.

Keep laughing BoonMee and spend money on expensive smelly deodorant if you like. I can buy this Crystal Body Deodorant for exactly 49 bahts at the local pharmacy and it lasts for ages.

I bet you are the kind of smelly people who mix a cheap eau de toilette and deodorant.

    I prefer to keep natural.

That and more. You sweat what you eat, from all over your body pores. Red meat and dairy products produce the nastiest smell, especially cheese. Eat alot of fruit and veg and drink lots of water, and it's cleaner.

When I'm in Switzerland I eat a lot of cheese and red meat. Never have noticed a change of my body odour, nor my wife. I think shower at least once a day is the key.
