Strollers new Moderated section

hello . ok Stroller is interested in setting up a serious discussion group that will be moderated, this will be part of teakdoor but the moderation policies on that section will have nothing to do with teakdoor policies, ie he can ban you from that section if he so wishes, hope all this makes sense.

Well, it's impossible to focus on any sort of serious discussion here, that's a downside of minimal moderation.

Ok Stroller just for you, you name the forum for serious discussion and you moderate it, I will set it up for you, things dont get better than that do they, also if anyone else has some good ideas of their own feel free to tell me

To be honest mate, thats a bit harsh. I like your posts generaly and find them funny, but as soon as it comes to politics you lose it, Ok your not the only one, but you do give as good as you get....at least

But I am just being frank on this one. OK, I have seen the odd thread with serious stuff which stayed on topic here, but I do believe in moderating, if and when the aim is to promote a serious exchange.
I would welcome such section here, not sure I'd want to be a mod, though, I found it rather unrewarding last time I had that position.

The only provisio is that there is a sticky stating your rules etc and stating that teakdoor is in noway responsible for the moderation in your section, or the over moderation as maybe, also no pics of penises or pink gals bits

nope, he will only be able to ban you from his forum, he has to choose how much he wants it moderated and has to choose his own mods purely for that section, it will have absolutely nothing to do with teakdoors main forums moderation policies.

Ok this may not make sense for some posters, this thread was seperated from another thread in the members only section, anyway stroller needs input and advice on how best to run his new section and what it should and shouldn't allow.
