Why would they do this decades later to support a hoax, even if the Soviets had an unimaginable reason to support the hoax at that time?
Because it meant that they no longer had to pour money they didn't have into a space program they couldn't afford. But they still had to put money into the weapons race during the cold war, and that eventually broke them.

Yes, it was all a hoax.... Just like all the space flights, space station, orbiters, communication satellites and dead astronauts are all a figment of your imagination... Sheez... Some people are so gullible...

Have the conspiracy nuts ever explained:

    1) The presence of the laser reflectors positioned on the moon by several of the Apollo missions?
    2) The fact that almost 400 kg of lunar rock samples was carried back by the Apollo crews, much of which is completely different from anything ever found on earth?
Any error in tact, fact or spelling is purely due to transmissional errors...

It can't be the same person mon, wandering clearly said it was a woman.

Peter's mysterious brother Utter is a bloke, and I'm not sure he has ever worked at the UN in Thailand.

Nonsense. "The slang tosh is a blend of the words 'trash' and 'bosh.' Bosh comes from the Turkish word for empty. Tosh means 'nonsense' or 'empty, worthless talk.'" (contributed by Sebastian Chen)

Peter Tosh, born Winston Hubert McIntosh (October 19[1] 1944September 11, 1987) was a a reggae musician who was a core member of The Wailers who then went on to have a successful solo career as well as being a trailblazer for the Rastafari movement.
Tosh grew up in the Kingston, Jamaica slum of Trenchtown. He stood out because of his height at 6 feet, 5 1/2 inches. His short-fuse temper and unveiled sarcasm usually kept him in trouble, earning him the nickname Steppin' Razor after a song written by Joe Higgs, an early mentor. He began to sing and learn guitar at a young age, inspired by the American stations he could pick up on his radio. After an illustrious career with the Wailers and as a solo musician, he was murdered at his home. Robbery was officially said to be the motivation behind Tosh's death.

She took HIV infected blood and put it on a petri dish in an area that had direct sunlight for 1 week. She then showed us with a microscope that some of the HIV cells were still mobile (alive). She diagnosed several cases of people who had contracted the disease who did not know any one who was infected (including an 11 year old whose hymen was intact, and no blood transfusion.)

She was having a giggle with you mate.

Take any bood sample you want, put it in the sun for a week - and you will get nowt but a dried blood stain with nothing alive. The fun is - you can even try this at home!

Exclusion of blood transfusion and sex in the girl also does not mean that the ONLY alternative was mosquitoes!

Sounds like she was sent back for being genuinely loopy.

The real conspirationists no longer claim those reflectors are not there. The claim is now that they have been placed by unmanned missions.
Those reflectors are still being used fore measurements today by scientists all over the world. Hard to discount their existence, even for lunatics.

By the way, thanks for all the fish (greens).

Secret unmanned missions, using robots, I presume. Look at current unmanned missions to Mars - 40 years later we are still struggling to put small shoe-box sized robots there.

And the lunatics (pun intended!) claim we were installing laser reflectors on the moon with unmanned missions in the late 60's......

What I don;t understand is why they think it was so difficult to put a man on the moon with the technology available at the time? Sure, it was expensive, but in terms of technological or engineering challenges, it was not that hard.
