OK, I don't know cats, but I've just phoned a fantastic friend who said: If it's a pill, put it as far back in the mouth/throat as you can & then blow gently in their face. This triggers a relex action that makes them swallow. If it's liquid, cut off the tip of the syringe & place it fairly far back. This will make them clamp with their jaws & take it. Another tip is to lift all 4 paws slightly off the ground while giving meds. As you give the tablet, drop the cat. Reflex action should make them swallow the pill. Good luck.
