Mang-da is also the name given to boyfriends who live off their girlfriends. They get the name because they flit from light to light. Similar to the English phrase 'bar-fly'. Uses

When we moved into this house just over 3 years ago, we had some trouble with the neighbours....everyones recommendation was to move.
The trouble got so bad that we had a lynch mob of a dozen or so young bucks at the boundary fence asking me to step out the front gate as they wanted to rip me to pieces and scatter my body all over the road.
We contacted our landlord, a call was made, another call was made from the csd apparently to the neighbours and all was deathly quiet from then on.
Several months later they moved.
