Make your own - squeeze some limes/lemon into a glass, add honey, top up with hot water and swallow a couple of aspirin or paracetamol. Does the trick, I promise.

we bought a lemon tree last week.
not limes but actual yellow lemons.

Hot water, lemon/lime juice with or without honey or salt may help, whiskey is another route to consider.

The best thing for a cold is Pernod & blackcurrant cordial. Tastes just like Veno's Cough Mixture (remember that?) and makes you forget you're sick. Or not care that you're sick. Whatever!
