    Who has ruined Thailand??
Is it one group i.e. Americans, Aussies, etc. or is it the backpackers type. What about those who come to LOS and think they can do "exactly the hell" what they want!
    Your thoughts please.

I need to understand what exactly the OP means before I can give a thought

    What has been ruined?
    I have reported your post

The countyside in Isaan, for me, is ruined by the Thais selfishness for not looking after their enviroment. This place is a fly tippers paradise.

Not a race of people in particular.

The main problem in LOS is that there seems to be no planning regarding infrastructure and services to particular growth areas. Look at Bangkok. What a shit hole and because there was absolutely no thought put into the place and since its rapid growth and starting in the mid 1960s.

Thousands of little and large satellite estates going up everywhere with no thought of how they are going to manage and provide services to these little communities.

Its only gonna get worse I'm afraid. A logistic nightmare.

I'm afraid you can't have one without the other.

If order, planning, management and cohesion is wanted then you will inevitably have to accept the cultural norms that generally foster such social development.

That would mean a Thailand without the fun.

Make up your mind chaps. Is it Singapore/Kuala Lumpur/Penang you wanted or a forgiving whoopsie strewn chaos where literally anything could happen.

    Nobody perfect, na.
