Well I think avatars have been talked about before. As you can see I am still looking. But I guess mine really shows my personality as an indecisive and lazy shit. Did you create yours yourself davearn?
mine came to me in a flash
It's my nickname with the rugby guys in the UK.
It came from my email address which had BKK at the end of it.....one guy always used to send emails to BBK and one day I asked him...what does that stand for then...Bobcock?
It stuck.
The fourth four letters of my surname and name, didn't we had a thread about it already ?
Sorry if this has been done before but I was curious and obviously didn't see the last one.
Nevermind, it could be on another board as well. But I remember such a thread somewhere.
^ don't worry about that. There are some many threads here that one can never tell.
I used to hate that at some other forums - you start a thread and two or three guys tell you to search. Happened on a minute by minute basis at TV.
As new members arrive, they will want to start threads and may repeat some. I hate to have to search through 20 pages of a thread search to see it was already done.
Chitown = Chicago.
I was thinking of starting some fresh, never before posted threads like - "What did you have for lunch?" and "Show us your rep points and comments."
Onya Chitown, gave me a giggle
Zipcode was chosen as something gender-, age-, class- neutral, not knowing how the TD experience would be.
Also, I used to be great at writing code (assembly language), but now can't code worth zip.
Back in 2003 it was going to be Ed Nonails - I am glad I saw that Peter Gabriel article in Q Magazine and settled on The Gentleman Scamp.
I kept the name from Thaivisa when I joined here.
I signed up on TV as mgnewman, but no one knew how to pronounce that so I changed it to my favorite brand of aspirin.
(I've had a few others as well....)
I had a dog called Rover.
it came to me in a dream.
I felt a bit rotten that day.
Mines from my favorite love film "lady Hawk " starring michelle phifer and rutger huer (sorring about the spelling)
Mine's pretty obvious I'm afraid no hidden meanings or obscure messages.. And yes that is my car and me driving at Watkins Glen in up state NY....In 2000....Unfortunately that was not one of those winning weekends..Had numerous issues, most of which were created by the crack crew of morons I hired..Should have just had enough faith in my own well trained crew, they were the only ones with a brain as it turned out.. But I thought this crew would have more experience for this series..Live and learn...Have faith in ones self..
