I'm only making assumptions here. Those who feel this sensation, feel free to add.
I occasionally read opinions whereby the westerner writer cannot stand the thought of returning to the west, and prefers the thought of existing in pretty much any alien asian nation, especially south-eastern, to returning to their birth country. I (and I think most normal westerners) can only wonder at what went wrong. These people will not only regularly speak out against western society but will also now speak out against me, subsequently finding comfort in support from the tiny minority of similar souls who have found each other via the wonder of internet forum technology. These same people, who praise and bless such luck, will however curse and hate the fact that the same technology can reintroduce them to the realities of western normility and their inability/refusal to fit in.
This is not a abnormaility witch-hunt, but in the modern world, there is no taboo when discussing any such thing, until those discussed form a discussion-topic pinpointed witch hunt. Lets see if that happens here. Can such people openly explain their lives, or only seek to hide behind topic-changing (small fish in a very small pond) western hatred?
