    Go Climb A Tree

It's the latest eco-fad; taking courses, buying the right equipment, and climbing that high tree and sitting up in the canopy...

I wonder if they realize the damage they do.
Those big trees are eco systems within themselves.

Apes came down from the trees and walked on two legs.
Men want to get back into trees to become apes again?

It's exactly what came to my mind when reading the thread title.

I wonder the damage that millions of people will do by climbing the trees without any specific knowledge.

And will it be safe to walk in the forest without worrying about diverse objects including people falling down the trees ?

The best way for these guys to do the planet a favour would be to climb to the top, unbuckle all the harnesses and then jump...

Nice one, by the way Propagator.

They only climb particular trees, trees that are good and safe for climbing.

They're all passionate eco-types; both websites contain long lists of guidelines for not disturbing the "canopy eco-balance" in any way, etc.

They're pulling themselves up ropes wrapped around selected, strong branches; they're not clambouring up the trunk itself or jumping from branch to branch...
