What's it supposed to be about chinthee?
I'd add my two cents, but I have only one.
We really should look at instigating a minimum net-worth before being able to post in this thread. Background, credit checks... That kind of thing.
^Nobody worth his salt declares his true wealth to anyone, let alone TD. IRS and Inland Revenue spies are everywhere.
^If you would be so kind as to provide me details of your bank account and credit card numbers so that I might check your authorisation to make that post or I'm afraid it will have to be deleted...
I could get ballistic about taxation, but I'll just be peaceful. IRS and Inland Revenue are my friends. Assholes.
I can't remember the last time I paid tax. It's my feverent wish that the tax dept. can't either.
Ok, now I understand terrorism, and the need to blow up things.
Mind you, on Monday I shall be making a Student Loan repayment so I'll be slightly less rich than I am today.
definition of wealth:
The difference between how much the tax man wants from you and how much actually paid.
In the words of a once great leader, Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
If your world is turned upside down, i guess you just have to try and do the best you can to turn it the right way up again.

I don't have the energy to go and make it and no doubt lose it again.
So to me, enough will do. Can't be bothered being rich again.
How did you lose it in the first place?
sick buffaloes!
First one (in Oz) - conspicous consumption and poor investments. Still, I made it too easy in the first place, didn't bother me.
Second one (HK) - Divorce, company fraud and a long running tax battle. Had the good sense to salt some away in real estate though, so lucky to have 'enough' left over. Barely- if I had left my money in USD, it would not be enough.
No complaints- I grew thoroughly sick and tired of the greed, vanity, dishonesty and general bullshit of the business world anyway. In business, people are your worst enemies- never underestimate their greed, and opportunism. If there is a buck in it, assume they will stab you in the back, including your wife.
Buffaloes in Tagalog are Carabao. Lost some money in the Fil's- I should be the proud owner of two condo's in Boracay, but....
If that aint gonna do it, then he can have my debts to, then he should be toast within an hour....Originally Posted by chinthee
