Really?? So you commonly laugh at jokes that you already know the punchline to? How entertaining......

This thread brings up a subject I've often pondered....if there is one single sound that irritates every single human on earth, it would be the sound of a mozzie buzzing near your ear.

Why hasn't mankind made mosquitoes extinct? Really, if we killed off the mosquitoes what other animals would be harmed? I know some bats eat mosquitoes and fish eat the larvae...but really what would the effect be?

Dunno. As often as I feel like, I guess. Do you need an exact number, right now?

Are mozzie coils really dangerous? I would have thought cans of Baygon or similar were far worse

I took to taking vitamin B. I read on the Intyweb that there was no scientific evidence that this provides a deterrent but I certainly found an improvement. The house also had screens on doors and windows and I sprayed about once a week. I hate the bloody things.

Apparently there's no silver bullit to get rid of mosquitos. Even with the best devices you're still going to get bitten. Product Reviews and Reports - Consumer Search.com - Reviewing the Reviewers. Look for mosquito traps

If you bother to read the wrapping, there it is actually stated that it should be not lighted near humans.

^ So, who are they supposed to protect? If you can't have a lit one near you to prevent mozzie bites, exactly what is their purpose?
