Firts things firts: Who are the Welsh? The only Welsh I know is the Gay dude in "Britain, Britain,Britain" or is it "Little Britain"? He comes from "Glecgyglefewdelwi" or some place like that. Do the places all have similar names?

Well actually whan i was a young up and coming academic at Aberystwyth's famed University.
Aberystwyth was totally dry on a Sunday.
A few shops would sell beer to you in brown bags and the Mandella bar at the union was open, but your options were very limited.
They had a referendum just after i graduated and i voted "No" to alcohol sales on Sunday, just to pee off the newby students.
Remarkably, the Yes vote came in with a margin of just 72.

I was once a member of the non-violent Cymdeithas Yr Iaeth Gymraeg.
I was instrumental in campaigning for the Welsh language act.

Armed with paint brush and green paint, myself and my brave comrades would go around the place covertly at night painting any english language signposts green.
I was arrested and received a conditional discharge by the English sympathising Dyfed police in 1991.

Not really, though in its written form there are similarities between Irish gaelic and Welsh.
