if you have the balls for that you may as well reduce the odds by placing it on a single evens bet (high/low black/red odd/even) on roulette.

A 'troubled' friend did that with his 15k or 17k house deposit in the late 70s, won, and left the casino a few minutes later without a fiver for petrol.

^ agreed, take the money, she,ll only give it back to the bingo hall in the end anyway, truth be told its probably only a tip of the iceberg that she spent there any way, or take her to thailand and buy her some girls too!

Oh, yeah, too true. The dogs'd take it (in the form of steaks, sausages & burgers) in a minute. I'm supposed to have more principles than them, though.

Take half and give it to a Hua Hin based doggy adoption centre.

I've never leached anything off anyone. I didn't ask her for the money.

What would she do if it was you that had won the money?

She would demand half of it. I don't think she's leave the country afterwards though.

That would involve telling her I was planning to leave her. You know what women are like when you dump them & I don't need the grief. In my experience, it's better to slip away quietly, without a word.

You seem to want the money since you are not refusing it outright

If I tell her I don't want it, she'll know something's going on & of course I want the money, it's just whether I can live with myself if I take it.
