Thread: What are you doing this summer?

So, I'm heading down to the Balkans and taking the train up from Split to Vienna after a few weekss in Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Montenegro.

From there we move and we move to Wroclaw, which has been on my hit list for a while.

After that, who knows?

I'm still hopeful of meeting david44, but we are both eternal travellers and it seems that our paths never cross...

I was thinking about The Ashes in December



Drop the missus off in Singapore and go from there.


But then I decided on a week in Spain at half the price and I can watch it on the telly!

Cornwall, apparently. prior to that Hanoi for my son's footy tournament. Possibly Madrid on way to Uk (but not looking likely) and a month in the north west.

Here in Oz summers just finished and the weather will soon cool down.. I didn't go anywhere
But a quick trip.to Lao and Thailand in July is booked

Heading home to California and Arizona for a holiday and most importantly our daughters wedding,

She will marry in Big Sur California.






Then to Sedona Az the day the daughter leaves on her European honeymoon



Then on to the south rim of the Grand Canyon

As far as I know this is the first. Her twin will marry here on Samui next March. Good I dont have to go back to Trump land.

If you intend to try whitewater rafting (it is so much fun to spend the one evening along its bank) check the condition/s in Spring.

A friend wanted me to go with him on a 7 day rafting trip on the Colorado a few (+) years ago.

I told him no, because there wasn’t enough water flowing. I believe the same conditions might stand today.

Even if you don’t intend a whitewater rafting trip, the area is breathtaking.

I'm planning a few weekend breaks around the UK and maybe a couple in Europe. Brugge and Porto are high on my to do list.
